A tail-waggingly good cover for animals lovers. This lovely cover features the Dogs stamps from Royal Mail's Cats and Dogs stamp issue back on the 13th February 2001.It is appropriately postmarked at Black Dog, Crediton! The lovely dog on the cover is Dan. He was rescued from being chained at the back of a filthy shed. His story is in gold on the left hand side of the cover. Luckily for Dan, the story has a happy ending. He now has a lovely home and likes fetching sticks from the nearby stream!

We were proud to officially work with the Brigitte Bardot Foundation on this project to raise money for Brigitte's animal rights work. This cover is available signed by Brigitte Bardot, Christopher Timothy, Lynda Bellingham or Virginnia McKenna OBE.

The Brigitte Bardot Foundation

The Brigitte Bardot Foundation works to protect both wild and domestic animals throughout the whole world. The 48,000 members give the Foundation the strength to lobby parliaments to change the laws with regard to animals. We fight against animal experimentation, the fur trade, transport of live animals and we speak out against animals as a spectacle in zoos, circuses and bullrings. The foundation aims to inform in order to get the general public involved ready to act. The foundation has an animal shelter 'La Mare Auzou' in Normandy for rescued animals (cats, dogs, donkeys, ponies and horses) and publishes a newspaper 'L'Info-Journal' which tells about all the things the Foundation is doing, but also offers lots of Brigitte Bardot souvenirs for sale.
