First British Win in a British Car on the Continent!

The 2nd cover in our Motor Racing series celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the first British win in a British car on the continent for 30 years. Tony Brooks won at Syracuse in October 1955. It was an amazing win. Again, our cover has a painting of the race by premier Motor Racing artist, Michael Turner. It is postmarked at Daventry, where Connaught, the manufacturer of the famous car, is now based.
