Why this is perfect for YOUR collection:
A Legend on Four Wheels!
The first cover in our Motor Racing series celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Sir Stirling Moss winning his first Grand Prix. The painting is by Michael Turner, one of the great Motor Racing artists and is of the actual race. The postmark is at Aintree, where Sir Stirling won, on 16th July 2005, exactly 50 years later.
Michael Turner very kindly signed some of our covers for us too. Even more fantastic, Sir Stirling himself agreed to sign limited number.
Unfortunately the double-signed versions are now sold out. To join the waiting list for any of these covers, order the product as usual through the website. You will not be charged and we'll be in touch to confirm that you're on the waiting list.
All is not lost if you're still after a Sir Stirling Moss signed version as we recently found some stock which we hadn't previously advertised on the website. They're doubled with the Royal Mail's Grand Prix stamps issued in 2007 and cancelled with our Motorsport Magazine postmark, celebrating his 1957 win. We anticipate they'll go quickly, so we recommend you place your order now to avoid disappointment! Ref. BCM01DBLS
