Why this is perfect for YOUR collection:
Live Your Dreams
We have taken first woman Senior Officer on British Airway's Concorde Fleet, Barbara Harmer as our inspiration.
Harmer is Concorde's first and only female supersonic pilot. And one of only forty female pilots flying in British Airway's fleet.
A school failure, Harmer became a hair dresser but her passion to fly was strong! She began educating herself and passed A-level exams in Geography, English Law, Constitutional Law and Politics.
A Male Dominated World
Harmer fought hard and paid privately to learn to fly and gained her private pilot's licence and then a commercial licence. She first worked as an instructer and then joined a commutor airline.
Concorde Flys Again
The cover illustrates iconic Concorde and the Woman of Distinction stamps from Royal Mail. It is postmarked at the home of Concorde - Hounslow, Heathrow.
The cover is available personally signed by Barbara Harmer. A motivational speaker and a role model for all woman.
