Fans of TV series Sharpe went trigger happy for our limited edition First Day Cover created in association with the Sharpe Appreciation Society.

It stars the delectable Sean Bean as the charismatic rifleman, Richard Sharpe in Sharpe's Challenge.

Sharpe's regiment, the Rifle Brigade or "The Chosen Men" feature on the 72p Green Jacket stamp. The Chosen Men were the SAS of their day and are also saluted on the postmark from Ilford, Essex.

A limited number were hand signed by bestselling author, Bernard Cornwell, the man who created Sharpe.
