We would like to work with you!Make our success, your success!There are two main ways you can make money with us at the moment: our recommend a friend scheme and our affiliate scheme. You can learn about the Affiliate Scheme here and we will update this page with news of our new "recommend a friend" scheme shortly. If you are interested in "recommend a friend", feel free to get in touch so we can let you know when this page is updated. We are also open to ideas! If you have a proposal that will intoduce new collectors to Buckingham Covers, we would like to hear from you. Although we don't really do wholesale, we are prepared to discuss any ideas that have merit and also will consider drop shipping. Affiliate SchemeIf you have a website, why not offer our covers in return for a commission per sale? This can work especially well if you offer a cover likely to appeal to your website users. We've successfully worked in this way with sites such as The Sharpe Appreciation Society and Avengers Forever. We create a personalised link for you to use. The link means we can accurately keep track of any sales coming through your site and pay you commission on them. You could chose to link to our homepage or, if you prefer, you could link to one or more specific covers. For example, if you run Steam Trains website, you’d probably want to link to our railway website. How much commission will you earn?We will agree the commission with you beforehand. We will not pay less than 15% commission per sale. If we really like your website and feel it compliments our covers, then we may be able to offer you a higher rate of commission. How do we track sales through your link?If anyone accesses our website through your personalised link and then goes on to buy something, we’ll be able to accurately trace it back to you and pay your commission. When will you get paid?Before we start, we’ll agree at what point the commission is paid. It is usually easiest for us to pay when the commission reaches a certain pre-agreed amount (e.g. £20) and then start again. We keep track of the figures here in the office and can give you copies of our records if you want them. How will you get paid?We can send you a cheque in UK£ or in US$ or we can credit your PayPal account. You can decide your preferred method when we set up your affiliate account. Are there any restrictions on the commission?We will pay the commission off anything that customer buys when they visit us through the link on your website. The commission doesn’t apply just to a certain cover - it applies to everything for sale on the www.buckinghamcovers.com site. We will not pay any commission on orders from the same customer who has returned through your website link more than 3 times. See how it works?You can see how being our affiliate works in action by looking at the website of one of our existing affiliates, The Battle of Britain Society. Our covers are featured on the following page: www.bbm.org.uk/newfdcovers.htm If you click on the Buckingham Covers link within that page, you’ll go to our website and see that there is a message at the top saying “Thank you for supporting the Battle of Britain London Monument”. We would personalise this message for you (or you could opt to have no message at all). You’ll see in the web browser that the link to our website is personalised for the Battle of Britain Society. This is how we track any sales that come through them. Can anyone be your affiliate?If you are interested in being a website affiliate, we’d love to hear from you. However, we can’t promise to include you on our affiliate scheme without seeing your website first. What happens if I have any problems?Hopefully, everything will go nice and smoothly but if you have any problems while working with us, you can get straight in touch with our Promotions and Press Coordinator Jules Parsons who will sort things out for you. We want the affiliate relationship to work for both parties and if you have problems, we want to know and help. Can you have a reciprocal link on our website?Joining our affiliate scheme does not guarantee a link on our website and we are not usually interested in being an affiliate ourselves. But, it is always worth asking! Can either party decided to end things?Yes, either party can terminate the affiliate agreement by giving the other party one month’s notice by email. The month’s notice is to give either side enough time to tie up the administration involved. How do you join your Affiliate Scheme?Simple! Email Jules Parsons via sales@buckinghamcovers.com with your name, contact phone number and website address. If you want to link to one cover in particular, please let us know which one. Jules will review your website and get back to you as soon as possible. If we decide to go ahead, then she will confirm the commission we would offer. If that’s acceptable to you, then we’ll take it from there.
