HM Bark EndeavourSo far, we have raised £1000.00 for this cause In 1768 Lt. James Cook set sail on a voyage of discovery from Plymouth, England in a Whitby Collier, HM Bark Endeavour. That voyage took him around the world in three years, in which he discovered and charted a large part of the southern lands. The original ship was nothing more than a common coal carrier that plied the north seas. The research and construction of HM Bark Endeavour, a replica ship, took twice as long as Cook's voyage! Today, Endeavour has been recreated to exacting standards and has sailed on her own voyage around the world, to ports in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Britain, both east and west coasts of North America, Canada, and a return trip to New Zealand and down Australia's east coast towards Sydney during the Olympic Games. A visit from Endeavour offers many exciting things to do. Visitors step back in time when they step aboard - and below decks show how Cook, his crew and the Joseph Banks and his group of scientists lived and worked - it is a great educational visit for everyone! We were delighted to produce covers for the HM Bark Endeavour that were carried aboard from Madeira to Sydney. This was one of our most risky and difficult projects ... for lots of reasons ... but the results are superb. One of Tony's all time favourites! Visit their website to learn more. We have produced 3 Covers with this AssociateClick on any image below to find out more about that design.
